Global Biorisk Advisory Council
GBAC STAR is a performance-based accreditation program that helps facilities demonstrate that they have the work practices, procedures and protocols to prepare, respond, and recover from outbreaks and pandemics.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System®, developed by the USGBC, is a voluntary consensus based standard for developing high performance sustainable buildings. While there are multiple LEED standards; LEED-EB (Existing Buildings) specifically addresses high performance cleaning processes and the use of Green seal certified products.
Green Seal is an independent, non-profit organization that strives to achieve a healthier and cleaner environment. Green Seal has no financial interest in the products that it certifies or recommends, nor in any manufacturer or cleaning service company. Green Seal’s evaluations are based on state-of-the-art science and information using internationally recognized methods and procedures. Green Seal provides credible, objective, and unbiased information whose only purpose is directing purchasers to environmentally responsible products and services.
Registered Building Service Manager
BSCAI’s Registered Building Service Manager (RBSM) designation is the most prestigious symbol of excellence for building service contracting management. By earning the RBSM designation, we are part of an elite group of building service professionals, worldwide.
United States Green Building Council (USGBC)
This association is the nation’s foremost coalition of leaders in the industry; it promotes facilities that are environmentally responsible and healthy places to work. Today, more and more companies follow the guidelines of the USGBC for “greening” their organizations. We actively follow the best practices that are consistent with USGBC guidelines, as well as utilize the Green Building Rating System that aims to mitigate the impact of buildings on the natural environment through sustainable design.
